FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Who is eligible to be a Regular Member of the Harvard Club of Cape Cod (HCCC)?

Any person who has been connected with any department of Harvard University or Radcliffe College as a student or an instructor or has received an honorary degree from Harvard or Radcliffe College shall be eligible for Regular Membership. Regular Members are eligible to participate in any vote of the Club and may hold any elected office of the Club as provided in the Club Constitution.

I am a current HCCC Regular member:  how should I log in to the website?

Log in with your Harvard Key, which is a password granted through Harvard. If you don't have one, click here to establish one. Once you log in, if you are a current active member, the website will recognize you and allow you to purchase tickets to events restricted to HCCC members and allow you to renew your membership.  Using this login also allows you to search the member directory for fellow alums who live near you, graduated in the same year, work at a particular company, or have a particular job title.

Who is eligible to be an Associate Member of the Harvard Club of Cape Cod (HCCC)?

Spouses (including widows and widowers) of Regular Members shall be eligible for Associate Membership. Parents of students attending Harvard University and parents of alumni/alumnae of Harvard University or Radcliffe College shall be eligible for Associate Membership. Associate membership includes all privileges of the Club except those of voting or becoming an Officer of the Club.

I am a current HCCC Associate member:  how should I log in to the website?

Associate members may use all features of this website, except for the Member Search feature. If you haven’t already done so, you should create your Login to the account.  Leave a message at HCCC VP of Membership (hccc.memberships@gmail.com), indicate that you are an associate member and what your phone number is, and somebody from the Membership team will call you, give you a temporary password, and help you set up a permanent account.  Once that is done, the website will recognize you and allow you to purchase tickets to events restricted to HCCC members and allow you to renew your membership.

I am a former Faculty member or student and have a Harvard Key.  Yet, when I try to log in with my Harvard Key, I get a message that says that I am not an authorized user.  Why?

Only degree holders from Harvard who also have an address on Cape Cod that is known to the HAA can use their Harvard Key to log in to the Harvard Club of Cape Cod website.  Create a Non-Alumni Login account and use that as your login going forward.  If you are a current active member, the website will recognize you and allow you to purchase tickets to events restricted to HCCC members and allow you to renew your membership.

What if I am not eligible for a Harvard Key account?

You may still be eligible to join the HCCC and use all features of this website, except for the Member Search feature. Create a Non-Alumni Login account and use that as your login going forward.

Are my dues and fellowship contributions tax deductible?
