Hallie Stephenson Lee, M.Ed '82
Sailor, paralegal, higher education administrator, long-time Cape Cod resident
Hallie has spent her summers on Cape Cod since 1964 in the Falmouth area. After her siblings and she sold their five-bedroom family home a few years ago in West Falmouth, she and her husband David (Dave) Lee (a Harvard MBA graduate) acquired their own place, a five-bedroom condo at Falmouth Port in East Falmouth where they now enjoy May – September plus long weekends and holidays. Dave and Hallie are sailors and met through a singles sailing group in New York City where they were both living and working in the 1980s and discovered that they were both Harvard graduates. Their first date was to attend a lecture at the Harvard Club of New York City given by Harvard Graduate School of Education, Professor Howard Gardner. Since they were married on Cape Cod at the Church of Messiah in Woods Hole in 1990, they have been members of the Harvard Club of Boston, NYC, Atlanta, and Cincinnati. The Harvard Club of Cape Cod is their fifth Harvard Club membership.
In her over two decades career, Hallie worked as a litigation paralegal for a major Boston law firm, a higher education senior administrator at Harvard University (Business and Law Schools), a federal court executive at the Southern District of New York in New York City (the largest federal trial court in the USA) and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta and a nonprofit and educational management consultant. She received her Masters degree in 1982 from the Harvard Graduate School of Education in the Administrative, Planning and Social Policy Program (APSP) or Non-Profit and Educational Management Program.
