Post-Event Description
Puccini's TOSCA
Scargo's Café and Cape Cinema
On Saturday, November 23, sixteen club members, alumni and guests braved the rain and gathered at Scargo’s Café in Dennis to share a meal, stories, and holiday plans. As usual, the meal was excellent. Following lunch, the group reconvened at the Cape Cinema across Route 6A to attend the Met’s live version of Tosca. Of course, the Met presented a magnificent production of Puccini’s opera set in Rome in 1800. We clearly had the best seats for the opera and were also treated to backstage interviews with the leading performers. Those of us who attended particularly appreciated the opportunity to get to know each other better.
