Steve Barrow, AB 1987
Physics in space and under the sea
Steve received a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Pennsylvania and spent several years working at electron and atomic nuclei accelerators. He then spent more years than he initially anticipated working on NASA's James Webb Space Telescope. He now works for Oceaneering International Incorporated on remotely controlled and autonomous, subsea vehicles. He recently collaborated on research that uses non-invasive imaging of a heart's magnetic field to diagnose anomalies.
Steve now lives on Cape Cod year-round with his wife and son. His wife works for Parexel and his son attends Cape Cod Academy.
