Post-Event Notes
Twenty-six club members and guests made some well-rewarded travel to Wellfleet on July 11th for another dinner and theater event. After a slightly moist but delicious, al fresco meal at Winslow’s Tavern, we reassembled at the Wellfleet Harbor Actor’s Theater (WHAT) for an enjoyable reception, mingling with theater personnel and members of the Parmet Harbor group. After a short review of the history of Reefer Madness dating back to 1936, we sampled some home-made treats and found our seats.
The musical was a most entertaining rendition of the classic. The cast was a talented group of singers, dancers, and performers. The HCCC informal review was most positive.
This is our third event with WHAT and its success will surely result in another such event in 2025.
