Cape Cod Summer Host Families Need
The Massachusetts Housing & Climate Innovation Center (MassHCIC) will be welcoming eight of the country’s best and brightest undergraduate and graduate students to spend eight weeks on Cape Cod this summer rolling up their sleeves to study and tackle some of our region’s greatest challenges pertaining to housing and climate change. Students will be from Harvard, MIT, Wentworth, Boston College and the University of Kansas!
Like the Cape Cod Baseball League, MassHCIC is seeking families or individuals to host one or more of these exceptional young men and women from mid-June to mid-August. Hosts will receive $150/week to help defer expenses, but the real payoff will be your starring role one day in the memoirs of these future leaders in science and business! By opening up your spare bedroom to these distinguished students you will be serving the college community, the Cape Cod region we love, and all those who will benefit from the innovative work of these All-Stars!
The Massachusetts Housing & Climate Innovation Center was launched by Cape Cod leaders that include Rob Brennan and is focused on leveraging innovation to solve for housing that is climate resilient, net zero, and affordable.
