Bird Walk at Long Pasture
Spring Migration
An enthusiastic group of 17 members and guests gathered early at Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary in Barnstable on May 14th. Led by the very experienced Board member and birder, Peter Bono, and assisted by fellow Board member John Collins, the group enjoyed a walk about the beautiful Sanctuary, while identifying a number of avian species currently making Long Pasture their home. The group represented all levels of experience in bird watching which made the visit particularly educational.
After nearly three hours, the group reconvened at Golden Jalapeno in Yarmouth Port for easy conversation while sampling hearty Tex Mex cuisine.
