They call me “Bud,” but my Harvard diploma reads Erling A. Hanson, Jr., AB Physical Science, 1959. Married to Elizabeth “Betty” Lowson at the start of my senior year in 1958. We are blessed with three children who blessed us with nine grandchildren who continue to bless us with nine great grandchildren with two more on the way.
Contractor (Hanson Contracting Co. Inc.) for thirty years. President of Forest Hills Cemetery for fifteen years and then Board Chair for eighteen years. Trustee of Faulkner Hospital and Brigham and Womens Hospital for forty three years. Dedham School Committee, Lions Club International, Massachusetts Charitable Mechanic Association, and lots of other not-for-profits throughout the years. Traveling, gardening, reading, etc., including loving and living life to its fullest.
