Sandwich Glass Museum and Lunch

Fourteen committed souls gathered for Vitrum Veritas to learn and break bread on Nov 17th at the Sandwich Glass Museum and Fisherman’s View restaurant. After a compelling demonstration of the art of glassblowing, the group was treated to a movie detailing the history of the museum, followed by a tour showcasing historical glassworks. The museum, decorated for the holidays, was a marvelous display of color and light which was a fitting prelude to the upcoming holidays. From the museum, the group traveled the short distance to Fisherman’s View restaurant to enjoy the company and fresh seafood by the Cape Cod Canal. The small group had its hunger for education and food fully satisfied. One participant traveled from Nantucket and noted the trip was well worth it.
