Sandwich Glass Museum and Fisherman's View Restaurant, Sandwich

This summer the HCCC has introduced a new type of event - just an opportunity for club members and other Harvard alums to get to know each other and experience the incredible diversity of interests among the 1,000+ alums who live on Cape Cod full or part-time. Solid research, much from Harvard, shows that those who stay connected are 2-5 times less likely to experience heart disease, cancer or dementia.  So come for your health but mainly to enjoy yourself with colleagues.

Our next Veritas adventure will be on November 17th at the Sandwich Glass Museum followed by a lunch at Fisherman’s View restaurant. The tour begins at 9:45 AM at 129 Main Street, where the Museum will be decked out for the holidays with a festive and colorful display of glass and ornaments. The tour will include a glass blowing demonstration, history of the museum, and, of course, viewing the exceptional glassworks.

Following the tour, we’ll reconvene at Fisherman’s View restaurant on the Cape Cod Canal for a lunch and, as always, lively conversation. The cost of the tour is $5.00. The only other cost will be your self-ordered lunch.
