Martin Webber, MBA '80
Economic Development Consultant
Montreal native Martin and his wife, Ginger, began to split their time between Washington, DC, and Brewster in 2020, after living and working in 70 countries over the course of his career in consulting with businesses and governments in emerging economies. Today, Martin is semi-retired, still working with J.E. Austin Associates, a consulting firm founded by a HBS professor who pioneered applying management tools to support business in playing a productive and responsible role in the development of their economies. Ginger, a retired management and strategy specialist, is a violinist with both Falmouth and Washington orchestras, and they have two sons. Martin is still engaged with his alma mater, McGill University, and he enjoys squash and most other sports, reading, and exploring the Cape and abroad with Ginger.
