Assistant Webmaster
We are looking for a technology-savvy member to assist the Webmaster in maintaining the website pages. Some familiarity with spreadsheets, document editing, and HTML is expected. You will work with the various officers of the club in making changes to pages under their purview; e.g., Membership, Events, Student Support, and Community. Event Planning and Coordination
We are looking for new members with creative ideas and organizing skills for the most important club task - developing and planning events. The work involves suggesting exciting educational topics and social activities for the club, soliciting potential speakers and working with them on content and logistics, and establishing relationships and arrangements with venues. We also want to connect with members who have ideas for smaller, special interest or local events. We plan a season kick off meeting in late August/early September. Interviewing Harvard Students
We are looking for alumni interested in recruiting and interviewing the approximately 70 students who apply for admissions to Harvard College from the Cape and Islands each year. (Please note: Harvard requires that interviewers be degree holders from Harvard College or one of the graduate schools) Alumni are a vital part of the admissions process, and if you are interested in finding student talent from the Cape and Islands, please contact us by emailing rufus.peebles@gmail.com.
