Recognition of Summer Fellowship Interns and Donors

August 13, 2026 from 3 PM to 5 PM at Kings Way in Yarmouth Port

Come celebrate 2 Harvard students’ public service on Cape Cod, Thursday, August 13th. The Harvard Club of Cape Cod will honor our Summer Fellows and our Fellowship Program Donors with a reception from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the Meeting House in Kings Way in Yarmouth Port.

Light appetizers, soft drinks, water, and wine will be provided.  Please register so we know how much food and drink to prepare.  While the event is free to all members and guests, we invite you to support future Summer Fellowships thru this HCCC program.

 

ABOUT THIS YEAR'S FELLOWS
 

Anna Popnikolova '28 Summer Fellow Anna Popnikolova ‘28 is from Nantucket High School and currently concentrating in Philosophy with a secondary in Slavic languages and literatures. She is interested in media, environment, journalism, and law. Anna is on the poetry board and social chair of The Harvard Advocate, assistant poetry editor of House House Magazine, social chair of The Signet Society, and founded the Nantucket Poetry Festival, which she hosts annually in her hometown. She is also a writer for Nantucket's Inquirer and Mirror newspaper, the sustainable living magazine BlueDot, and Nantucket lifestyle magazine NToday. Her dream job is to someday work for The Paris Review. For her internship Anna is working with Mindy Todd, Executive Director of CAI (The Cape, Coast, and Islands NPR stations - Falmouth/Woods Hole, and with WGBH in Boston. The nature of her internship is supporting CAI's community focused initiatives and its collaboration with nonprofit organizations on Cape Cod. Her responsibilities included: assisting with community engagement, outreach, and coordination with Cape Cod nonprofit partners; supporting CAI's efforts related to local nonprofits; conducting research to inform community programming and storytelling; helping organize and support events, interviews, and community based projects; and providing administrative and project support to CAI staff as needed. Anna will tell us about her experience and what she learned during her internship.
 

Jack Reardon '28 John “Jack” B. Reardon '28 grew up in Milton, Massachusetts, and attended Boston College High School. At Harvard, Jack concentrates in Government with a secondary in Economics. He is a Staff Writer and Associate Magazine Editor at The Harvard Crimson where he has covered the Cambridge City Council. Across more than 70 articles, he has reported on housing, municipal finances, elections, and how recent federal policy changes have affected Cambridge. He also covered the political fallout from criminal charges against a sitting city councilor, coverage for which he was awarded a national Mark of Excellence award from the Society of Professional Journalists. It was on the Crimson’s metro desk that Jack discovered a real passion for the importance of keeping people informed about local institutions and occasionally holding those institutions to account. This summer, Jack has interned at The Provincetown Independent where he has assisted in research, fact checking, and reporting, pitching and publishing multiple news pieces and feature articles.
